This sculpture shows a boy who thinks he’s playing with a big soccer ball. An object of great attraction to him because it is made of: smartphones, tablets, electronic games, remote controls etc. The child does not know is that he is playing with a “time bomb” of which he is not yet prepared to manipulate. When it explodes on him it will be too late, as it would have created an addiction to technology, which is projected as the greatest epidemic of the early 21st century.

The child is made of gilded bronze, symbol of its great potential and value. He has two messages carved in the binary system. On his chest he cries out for love, and on his back he cries out for help, meaning that what he really needs is love and guidance to develop his own growth.
