This work is the glove of the world covered by more than 1500 lithium batteries and other electronic components. This means that the earth is seen as a big battery where we connect to get what we need to live. The problem is that it is done in an irrational way, what we forget is that when it runs out there will be nowhere to connect to recharge.
The work is a representation that the earth is in intensive care and all it needs is that we let it breathe (oxygen) and we treat it with Love (blood). The Earth is our home the only one we have. As Chief Seattle said, “The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth”, according with some scientist; if human disappears from Earth the planet will flourish, but if some insects disappears Earth will die.
The lotus flower represents hope despite our abuse, our Mother Earth continues to provide us with what we need to exist as a human race, today we have the technology to save our planet we must unite to do it.
